BBBSM Turned 60 Today!
By Lauren Mohatt, Events Manager
It all began in 1959 with four friends – Phil Patterson, Bob Hasebroock, Jim Rosenquist and L.A. Bukacek – who had philanthropic hearts. Now many years have passed and our community has greatly benefitted from their hard work and dedication to serving youth who need it the most!
Our local agency is proud to announce that we have officially turned 60 years old today – December 11, 2019. We truly believe that there is “No Place Like Home” at Big Brothers Big Sisters! You are a part of our BBBS family – Bigs, Littles, parents/guardians, alumni, donors, board members, corporate and community partners as well as staff. Thank YOU for supporting our organization and allowing us to make this community our home for 60 years!
We have matched thousands of youth in our community since our founding in 1959, and we look forward to 60 more years of impact. As yet another eventful year comes to a close, please consider keeping Big Brothers Big Sisters on your list for year-end giving.

Your gift and its impact will be doubled thanks to a couple generous donors who provided matching funds! Invest in the biggest possible futures of our youth.
